Preparing for hunt

David mentoring some of the young hunters from Grace Church in DeRidder, La. where he attends the second service regularly each Sunday. Be a Big Brother to someone!

Fall blind preparation begins with grass cutting, mowing and weed eating around blinds and along levees.

Grass cutting and shovel work continues….

With broom in hand, David’s Pastor George Lee Glass of Grace Church DeRidder, Louisiana, sweeps the interior of blinds and inside walls are wiped clean.

Dustin Dear persistently prepares the grass that will camouflage the blinds and hunters. Dustin is an extremely dependable worker. Thanks Dustin!

(Dustin is a future guide in training)And so the fun continues with duck decoy placement. And the fun continues until the full body goose decoys are put out.

The day comes to an end and decoy placement is complete. An Awesome sight.

The mentoring goes a field! This time the work is over and it’s time to play (hunt)! David is 59 yrs of age & he still knows how to have a good time with those who help.A Godly life filled with Excitement and Adventure!

David Sharing his knowledge and skill with younger eager-to-work hunters.

My gift to those who helped in grass cutting, blind clean out and decoy placement. All 9 hunters, hunting the above blind, harvested 54 ducks (9 limits) on opening day by 7:40 A.M.An Increible hunt! My appreciation to those who participated in the work!
